Woo Seul-Ki (Chung Su-Bin) grew up in an orphanage in the countryside. She moves to Seoul and gets into Chaehwa High School, an elite school for the top 1% of students in South Korea. However, she struggles to fit in with her classmates.

One day, a student named Yoo Je-Yi (Hyeri) approaches her, and they become friends. Yoo Je-Yi is the most powerful student at the school—she has a high IQ, comes from a wealthy family, and is extremely attractive. Since birth, she has been admired by others, and she knows how to use her status to her advantage.

For some reason, Yoo Je-Yi takes a special interest in Woo Seul-Ki. As they grow closer, their friendship turns into something much more complicated—walking a fine line between friendship and obsession.
